The complex of Machu Picchu, located in Peru is undoubtedly the most important and most visited in South America receives hundreds of thousands of tourists, is known as the ancient sacred city of the Incas. Location:
Machu Picchu is located 120 kilometers northwest of the city of Cusco at an altitude of 2,400 meters. The only access is by train (4 hours), helicopter (only 30 minutes but it is quite expensive) or walking.
Climate:
It’s hot and humid, with sunny days and cool nights. The rainy season starts in December and ends in March.
