Expedition service departs from two stations: Cusco (Poroy) and the Sacred Valley (Ollantaytambo)
TRAIN VISTADOME
The Vistadome is the ideal train for people who want to have contact with the natural environment and appreciate the journey to Machu Picchu. This train has panoramic windows so you can take the pictures that you want. The Vistadome has air conditioning and comfortable seats which can suit to your body providing comfort and relaxing during your trip. This train offers the best comfort and quality service.
LUXURY TRAIN HIRAM BINGHAM
The Hiram Bingham is the most luxury train and offers the best service that you ever had, because travel to Machu Picchu is once lifetime experience and you´ll enjoy a full day and unforgettable experience. The carriers are painted in a distinctive blue and the interiors are decorated in the style of the 1920’s Pullman trains. The train is composed of two dining cars, an observation bar car and a kitchen car, and can carry up to 84 passengers.
LOCAL TRAIN
From Ollantaytambo to Machu Picchu, the local train has 5 carriages, for the exclusive use for Peruvians, only be up here, possessing the DNI. These cars are not very comfortable, and sometimes passengers and cargo traveling in the hallways.
INKA RAIL
All of them depart from Ollanta-Machu Picchu.
INCA RAIL TOURIST TRAIN
This service is for people who are looking for comfort at the best price. With comfortable seats and tables in front, panoramic windows and delicious beverages combine with the amazing scenery makes an unforgettable experience. The train departs 3 times a day Monday through Sunday. From Ollantaytambo to Machu Picchu, the trip takes 1 ½ hours.
